The Praos Health platform works because healthcare organizations trust that Praossians will conduct themselves professionally. Our community is built on trust, transparency, and open communication. Keeping this in mind, Praossians are expected to adhere to the guidelines and the code of conduct set out by the professional licensing board. Each license-issuing state board has their own practice guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Praossians should expect healthcare organizations to implement their policies and guidelines, including any disciplinary action for nonconforming behavior.
To uphold our high standards of professionalism, we follow a three-strike policy. We investigate all complaints received from healthcare providers. A verified complaint counts as a strike. Three verified complaints against a Praossian may lead to account suspension.
In the event that a facility informs Praos of a complaint filed against a Praossian with the licensing board, we reserve the right to immediately suspend the Praossian's account. We verify license statuses against licensing board records on a regular basis, and any incidents reported against the license of a Praossian will also lead to account suspension.
