Clocking In and Clocking Out

You can text yourself the app from the footer of your dashboard or download Praos Health from Google Play or the App store.

 Please ensure that notification and location services are turned ON (you can find these options in your app settings); otherwise, you may not receive the notifications.

REMINDERS AND NOTIFICATIONS

You will receive shift reminder notifications 24 hours and 1 hour before the start of your shift.

ENROUTE

The 1hr notification will ask you to ENROUTE for the shift. This is to help you get to your shift on time  and notify the organization that you are on your way. You can click on the location icon at any time for driving directions to your destination.

For Telehealth nurses, who may be working from home or a remote location. Simply click ENROUTE to go to START JOB, which is the next state.

 enables the next state (START JOB) when you are at your work location.

START JOB

You will receive a notification when it is time to start your shift. You will be only be able to START JOB within a certain window of the actual shift start time.

START JOB s your clock in time and the time-stamps are recorded as the start your shift. 

You will receive a notification for COMPLETE JOB a few minutes prior to your shift completion time.

COMPLETE JOB 

Hit the COMPLETE JOB button when done. This is your clock out time and the timestamp is recorded. A notification is sent to your supervisor. The Job will stay in Jobs in Progress for at least another 15 minutes, allowing time for your supervisor to acknowledge and approve. If not, they will get reminders for approval for the following 24 hrs. 

The COMPLETE JOB button may be blocked  after a certain grace time and a message to contact your supervisor may be displayed. In that case, simply wait for the system to auto-verify or you may also contact your supervisor (contact details in the job) and provide your actual times. Allow them time to verify and approve your shift.
