Why am I being asked for my last 4 Social

We understand your concern and rest assured that your information is securely encrypted and we only store the last four digits in our systems. This data is only visible to you.

To speed up license verification and job placements, we have automated professional license verification with the licensing board (state BONs) through the Nursys e-notify system. We also perform exclusion monitoring of licenses. For both these functions, we need to collect the last 4 digits of your social security number, license#, and DOB. Your personal data (Last 4 SSN and DOB)  is never shared for job applications.
